Health and pedigree for Lana

Whelped 10/8/2008

In late 2009 Lana had been suffering from chronic nausea and intermittent diarrhea. After some bloodwork, x-rays and an endoscopy, we had a diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease, an autoimmune disease. This isn’t in her pedigree and is unexpected.

Lana is proving to be rather difficult to manage. However, in spite of her challenges, she really wants to do as much agility as she feels up to. So we’re competing and NADAC and AKC. Her nausea often slows her down, but she’s a nice little worker and racks up the Qs left and right.

I constantly wonder if I’m doing right by her competing. But when I look at the photos of her runs it’s clear that she is very happy out on course with me.

Lana like to get clothing from my bedroom for me.
